Rory McDonald is an experienced engineering leader and consultant with over two decades of expertise in the aerospace, motorsport, and defence industries and is a founding partner of OneEpsilon.

Experience
Rory earned a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College London. He began his career in an engineering consultancy, specializing in aerothermal analysis. His notable projects during this period include developing comprehensive thermal models for gas turbines and contributing to aerodynamic advancements in Formula 1 and other motorsport series.
In 2011, Rory joined Rolls-Royce Civil Aerospace's Performance department. There, he led teams supporting global engine test facilities and served as the performance lead for the Trent 900, 700, and 500 engines. He also managed departmental methodologies and oversaw a team of in-house specialists.
Returning to consultancy in 2020, Rory held positions as Principal Engineer at Norton Straw and later as the UK Director for Mechanical and Physical Engineering at Capgemini Engineering. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated leadership in team development, organizational change, and management of complex Technical projects. In addition Rory is a member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (MIMechE), reflecting his commitment to professional excellence in the engineering field.
